I often get the question when I meet people I haven’t seen for a while, and therefore this little “blog” on our website 🙂
Since All England, I have not participated in a normal practice session together with the national team.
There are probably some experts who think I could easily jump around on court, but Christinna and I want to take good care of me and the baby.
It also means that Christinna carries all our shopping bags to the 3rd floor where our apartment is located – I have to enjoy it as long as it lasts 🙂
4 out of 5 days during the week I join Christinna when she goes to practice. When Christinna practice in the hall I go to the gym and do the strength exercises that suit my level.
The reason I go to the gym almost every morning is to keep my body and mind healthy. It gives me energy to start the day with training, so I will continue as long as I can.
Fortunately I’m not negatively affected with nausea during my pregnancy, so until now it’s easy to be pregnant.
The next few weeks I’ll be traveling. First I will spend two days in Tokyo where I will attend a business event with Badminton Denmark. I also hope to see some of the Danish players in action during the weekend at the Yonex Japan Open.
After the weekend in Tokyo I will go to Changzhou in China where the next World Tour tournament will be played. I will of course support Christinna and Mathias as much as possible during the tournament. In China, I’ll make another event, this time for one of Badminton Denmark’s sponsors. Last week of the trip goes to Seoul where Korea Open is being played.
I look forward to join the World Tour tournaments and to see all my friends and colleagues on the tour.
When we are back home in Denmark, there’s 3 months to due date, so time is going fast 🙂
